In Mushroom Wars 2, enemy tribes of feisty mushroom creatures face off in short but fierce RTS battles. Step into the shoes of a fearless Mushroom Commander, choose a hero to lead your army, and take control of the battlefield in a variety of multiplayer modes or challenging story campaign.

What is Mushroom Wars?

Mushroom Wars 2 is a real-time strategy video game, developed and published by Zillion Whales. It is the sequel to Mushroom Wars, and was originally released on iOS and tvOS on October 13, 2016 and is also available on Android, Steam and Nintendo Switch. Versions for PlayStation 4, and Xbox One are expected to follow soon.

There is an Online Multiplayer mode where you are able to participate in ranked and custom matches in various competitive modes for up to 4 players, including 2v2. Or, flock to the familiar Story-Driven Campaign, where there are over 100 missions complete with boss battles.

Mushroom Wars has a simple premise, but simultaneously also requires a lot of strategy and planning. Your goal is to overtake buildings by using your Mushroom troops. Your antagonist’s goal is also to overtake buildings by using their Mushroom troops. You send your troops to occupy nearby buildings and doing so allows you to generate more troops. However, be wary because by doing so you are also leave the risk of having the building that you just sent your Mushroom troops from less defended. If the enemy were to send all of their troops to the building that you just sent your troops from, it would be harder for you to protect it. This creates a push and pull gameplay in Mushroom Wars, allowing for interesting and fun strategies. And because it’s a Real Time Strategy game, you’ll have to quick think on your feet. I highly recommend Mushroom Wars to anyone looking for fast paced fun.
