My Singing Monsters

Where else can you listen to a beautiful cacophony of monsters singing?

What is My Singing Monsters?

Developed by Big Blue Bubble, it was published on September 4, 2012. It’s available to play on Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows, and PlayStation Vita.

As the title suggests, My Singing Monsters consists of a variety of monsters. From the financial side, your goal is to take care of the monsters, and in return you’ll recieve gold coins from them. The more monsters you get, the more gold you’ receive (it’s a linear correlation.) You can also upgrade monsters to make them produce more coins.

There are multiple worlds/islands in My Singing Monsters. Each world has a limited amount of spaces for monsters. Each monster, depending on their size, takes up a different amount of space. If there’s no more space on one island, feel free to start another island.

All the monsters in My Singing Monsters produce different sounds. When you have enough monsters, the monsters’ singing will sound like a real song. Each island has a different theme and a different melody.

One of My Singing Monster’s most interesting features is the fact that you can compose music using the monsters. So, people have taken the liberty of recreating popular music, and composing their own music, through My Singing Monsters. Some of the Top ranked composer islands feature remakes of: Spongebob’s theme song, Gravity Falls’ theme song, Sans’ theme song, Spectre - Alan Walker, Industry Baby - Lil Nas X, the Tetris theme, the Pirates of the Caribbean theme, and Plants vs Zombies. The genre range of these songs is fascinating. They are actually really impressive, considering how close each of them sounds like the original, and especially the fact that they were recreated in My Singing Monsters. If you’ve never had the chance to hear these before, I highly recommend that you check them out on Youtube.
