Pokemon Agility Electro Ball Strategy

Agility Electro Ball Strategy for Pokémon Sword & Shield.

Battle Format: Doubles

General Idea: Get as much speed on the Electro-Ball user as possible to sweep the whole opponent’s team.

Personal Tips: I would start with Orbeetle (Telepathy) and Lycanroc to start setting up the Agilities and Stealth Rocks. The turn before you want to Baton Pass, I would hard switch into Clefable if Lycanroc hasn’t already fainted so you can get use Follow Me so your Electro-Ball sweeper doesn’t get attacked the turn the enter the battlefield. After that, I would just try to sweep the rest of the opponent’s team. (Not having Pelipper will make it a little harder to move first, but I think that getting the attention off of your sweeper is more important).

Try to sweep with Electro-Ball, but can use the other coverage moves. Grass Knot for dealing with Ground and Rock types. Protect for scouting moves. • Aromatherapy

Pelipper

Ability: Any
Item: Quick Claw/Focus Sash/Sitrus Berry
Nature: Jolly. +Spd, - Sp. Atk
EVs: 252 Spd, 126 Def, 126 Sp. Def, 6 Hp
Moves:

  • Soak
  • Tailwind
  • Mist
  • Knock Off

Pelipper is used to set up Tailwind to give your team and the Electro-Ball sweeper a boost in speed, and Electro-Ball’s damage. Pelipper can also be used to change an opponent’s type to water by using Soak if none of the other moves can hit them. Mist is to prevent the sweeper from getting their speed or special attack lowered. Knock Off is to get rid of any of the opponent’s annoying items, such as Leftovers, Black Sludge, Kings Rock, etc. Knock Off can also be paired with Orbeetle’s Frisk to look for any troublesome items. Pikachu/Raichu’s Lightning Rod can also be helpful if you are using Pelipper since Electric is its main weakness. Quick Claw for sometimes moving first to use Soak or Tailwind before Electro Ball.

  • Accelerock
  • Taunt

Lycanroc is used to set up Stealth Rock to remove the effects of any opponents with a Focus Sash, so you can sweep easier. Rock Tomb is to both break any of the opponent’s Focus Sashes and to lower their speed for when the sweeping Pokemon comes into the field. Accelerock is just a STAB priority move to deal a little chip damage. Taunt is used to stop the opponent from setting up on you. Quick Claw is to let you sometimes move first, or Life Orb to do a little more chip damage with Rock Tomb or Accelerock.
